treated with kindness and compassion every step of the way. Newport Diagnostic Center offers convenient office hours and make every effort to ensure that you are seen without delay.
Your referring physician will be provided with a complete and accurate report, often within six hours or less. Urgent findings are sent or called in to your physician immediately. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions about your exam. Our staff is happy to assist you.
Physicians: PACS and RIS Help Improve our Service to You
We realize that physicians are highly mobile and for your convenience, our HIPAA-compliant picture archiving and communications system (PACS) with the Vision Reach™ system from AMICAS® allows you to view your patients' reports anytime and anywhere. The Vision Reach technology enables us to integrate radiology reports with key images and send a single “multimedia” report securely to any email-enabled portable or handheld device. This is a great option for physicians who are highly mobile or who don’t have immediate access to a PC. In addition, you can also view your patients’ reports and images online from your desktop computer.
In addition to offering Vision Reach, NDC is pleased to offer our referring physicians complete PACS access. Referring physicians are able to instantaneously retrieve current exam results as soon as our radiologist signs off on the completed report. If a patient has had previous exams at NDC, referring physicians will also be able to compare them with the current exam with past studies, aiding in the evaluation and monitoring of disease states and the efficacy of treatment.
NDC’s PACS is a robust solution for those physicians wishing to have full access and control of the images covering the entire patient exam. NDC’s information technology capabilities also include the Radiology Information System (RIS). The RIS is a highly efficient tool that helps us manage a myriad of office tasks, including scheduling, patient tracking, and the rapid retrieval of diagnostic reports.
