At Newport Diagnostic Center (NDC) in Orange County, California, innovation is a key component of our practice philosophy. We were the first outpatient imaging center on the Pacific Coast to offer whole-body imaging studies with positron emission tomography (PET) and the first in Orange County, CA to offer a dedicated PET/CT system, which was recently upgraded to include 64-slice CT. NDC is currently the only outpatient imaging center in Orange County offering functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) and fiber tracking with the GE Signa HDx 3.0 Tesla MRI.

Newport Diagnostic Center is fully accredited for MRI, CT, PET, stereotactic breast biopsy, general ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, breast ultrasound, nuclear medicine and mammography by the American College of Radiology (ACR). NDC’s Women’s Center is one of only two facilities in Orange County to hold the distinction of a “Center of Excellence” by the American College of Radiology.
