Each of our physicians has completed subspecialty fellowship training in one or more specific areas of medical imaging.

Newport Diagnostic Center offers a wide range of imaging services, including neurology, oncology, cardiology, orthopedic and women’s imaging. Our physicians have conducted leading-edge research in many areas of medical imaging and have authored numerous book chapters, peer-reviewed articles, and abstracts. In addition to their appointments at medical universities, our physicians attend numerous professional society meetings throughout the United States each year. Our physicians are Board-Certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine and are members of some of the most respected organizations in their field, including the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, Society of Nuclear Medicine, American College of Nuclear Physicians, and Society of Breast Imaging.
Several of our physicians hold or have held distinguished positions at prominent medical schools and institutions.
Dr. Hazem H. Chehabi serves as Assistant Clinical Professor for the Department of Radiological Sciences at the University of California, Irvine, the Medical Director of Radiology for South Coast Medical Center and is a former faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Dallas.
Dr. David A. Brousseau is a staff member at UCLA Medical Center’s Women’s Imaging Department and former Medical Director and Founder of the PET Imaging Center of Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Louis M. Teresi is the Director of MRI and former Instructor of the MRI Fellowship Program at Long Beach Memorial Hospital and Imaging Center.
Dr. M. Linda Sutherland was named to Medical Imaging Industry’s list of Top Ten Radiologists in 2007, as a Physician of Excellence of Orange County radiologists in years 2005-08 and as one of the Best Doctors in America: Pacific Region, years 1996-2008.
Dr. Margaret M. Yago is the former Chief of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology at Madison Army Medical Center in Tacoma, WA and of the Radiology Department at Reynolds Army Community Hospital in Ft. Sill, OK.
Dr. Alexis Wong, MD is the Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Radiologist and Clinical Instructor of the University of Southern California, Department of Radiology, Division of Neuroradiology, Los Angeles, CA , and member New York State Roentgen Ray Society (2001-2005)
