David Allan Brousseau, M.D., Ph.D.
Director of Women’s Imaging


Dr. David Allan Brousseau is the Director of Women’s Imaging at Newport Diagnostic Center.

Dr. Brousseau has extensive experience in establishing and directing Women’s Imaging departments. He completed a dedicated Women’s Imaging Fellowship at UCLA Medical Center and has published numerous peer reviewed articles. Dr. Brousseau has considerable experience in the interpretation of breast MRI studies at UCLA Medical Center where he remains on staff and continues to contribute and participate in their breast imaging program.

Prior to his post-graduate training, Dr. Brousseau attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine earning a degree in medicine and a Ph.D. in pharmacology. He served his internship at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania and later completed his residency at the UCLA Medical Center. In addition to his fellowship in Breast Imaging, he has also completed a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine/PET at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California.

Dr. Brousseau comes to NDC from St. Francis Medical Center where he was a member of the St. Francis Radiology Medical Group and instrumental in establishing a successful Women’s Imaging program. Prior to St. Francis Medical Center, he served as Medical Director and Founder of The PET Imaging Center of Delaware County, a division of the Crozer-Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. Dr. Brousseau also served as Assistant Medical Director of Women’s Imaging and as a staff radiologist.

Dr. Brousseau is board certified in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. He is a member of numerous medical societies, including the American College of Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine, as well as the Society of Nuclear Medicine, and the Society of Breast Imaging.

Dr. Brousseau resides in Orange County, California.
