Dr. Farzad Massoudi has been an integral part of the NDC CyberKnife® Radiosurgery team since 1998.
The CyberKnife offers a non-invasive option for treatment of tumors and other conditions affecting the brain, head, neck and cervico-thoracic spine. Image-guided technology allows the CyberKnife to deliver a precise dose of radiation to a tumor while minimizing radiation to surrounding healthy tissue.
Dr. Massoudi has an extensive background in research and clinical expertise in spine instrumentation, neurosurgery and radiosurgery.
Dr. Massoudi is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon who also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical School (UCLA). He completed an internship in general surgery, a residency in neurosurgery, subspecialty training in radiosurgery and a clinical apprenticeship in functional and stereotactic neurosurgery at UCLA.
A popular speaker at medical society meetings and on medical school campuses, Dr. Massoudi is also a published medical researcher. His many honors and awards include recognition not only for his research, technological and clinical skills, but for his compassionate patient care.
Dr. Massoudi resides in Corona del Mar, California.
