Newport Diagnostic Center (NDC) is pleased to announce it recently underwent voluntary peer-review evaluation and assessment by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and has been awarded Accreditation for the achievement of high practice standards for our PET services.

ACR evaluations are conducted by independent board-certified physicians and medical physicists who are experts in their respective fields. These experts review and assess the qualifications of our personnel and adequacy of the facility’s equipment. The surveyors then report their findings to the ACR’s Committee on Accreditation and a comprehensive report is provided to the facility undergoing review.

Newport Diagnostic’s decision to voluntarily undergo the rigorous process of accreditation is a testament of our ongoing and continued commitment to providing our physicians and patients with highest level of quality care and patient safety.
